At Untamed Safariz, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the cancellation and refund terms applicable to all bookings. We encourage Clients to read this policy carefully before confirming a booking and to obtain appropriate travel insurance.
The following cancellation charges apply based on the number of days prior to the scheduled travel commencement date:

Certain packages, particularly during peak seasons (October – June), may have stricter cancellation terms. These will be clearly communicated in your booking confirmation and will supersede the standard schedule above.
If a Client fails to arrive on the scheduled travel date without prior written notice, the booking will be treated as a 100% cancellation with no refund applicable.
If one or more guests in a group cancel while others continue, cancellation charges apply to the cancelling guests only, calculated on their pro-rata share of the booking value. Revised pricing for the continuing guests will be provided.

Wildlife reserves in India are subject to closure by forest department authorities for monsoon season or special conservation activities. Such closures are beyond our control. If a reserve closes during your booked period, we will:
Refunds due to government-mandated closures are subject to recovery of non-refundable third-party costs already incurred.
We offer flexible rebooking options in recognition of changing travel circumstances:
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days of written cancellation confirmation. Refunds are transferred to the original payment method used at the time of booking.

For international clients, refunds are processed in INR to the original payment method. The Company is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations between the time of payment and the time of refund.
Travel insurance claims for cancellation due to illness, bereavement, or other personal circumstances must be made directly with your insurer. Untamed Safariz will provide documentation to support your claim upon request.
Untamed Safariz reserves the right to amend this Cancellation and Refund Policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your booking confirmation will apply to your booking.

The April–May window is when Tadoba truly comes alive. As temperatures rise, waterholes become the only water source, drawing tigers to predictable locations. Our recommended zones are Moharli and Kolsa.
Early morning safaris (6 AM) yield the best results — tigers are active and the light is golden. Pack light cotton clothing, binoculars, and a good telephoto lens.
When the last jeep returns to camp and the jungle settles, the Milky Way blazes overhead like a river of light. Central India's forests register Bortle Class 3–4 — dark enough to see thousands of stars with the naked eye.
New moon nights between October and March offer the darkest skies. We bring professional telescopes and our resident astronomer to guide you through the cosmos after your evening safari.
1. Arrive before dawn. Golden hour in the jungle is 30–45 minutes. Tigers photographed in this light are transcendent.
2. Go silent. Turn off camera sounds, whisper only, avoid sudden movements.
3. Use a fast lens. f/2.8 or f/4 telephoto in the 400–600mm range for low jungle light.
4. Wait and watch. The best wildlife photographs come from patience.
